What is LIFE?

The LIFE Program a financial instrument of the European Union exclusively dedicated to the environment for the period 2007 to 2013. The main objective of this program is to contribute to the implementation, upgrade and development of the common policy and legislation on the environment, including the environment integration in other policies, to contribute to the sustainable development. The LIFE programe will especially support the implementation of the 6th EAP, including thematic strategies and financing measures and value-added projects in the European member States.
